The
crankshafts are from the NSU Max engine
1954. The model with lubrication in the end.
The other lubricationsystems have problems
when exceeding 8000 rmp.
They have to be turned to at thickness of
on the picture in both
crankshafts and then polished.
2 holes 22 mm
2 holes 16 mm
2 holes 10 mm
The connecting rod has to be grinded clean of
cast burr and then polished.
When it is put together it may not woble more
than 0,02 mm.
It has to balanced with 60%.

The piston is drop-forged, as it
is the best,
lightest and strongest.
It is still prodused in California.
The weight of the piston is 338 g.
The compression ratio is 11:1.
The piston can be even lighter, my piston is
311 g.
As the milling out in the piston head to the
inlet valve only is
calculated for a 40 mm
valve, is has to be milled out to a 42 mm valve.
